Happy Father's Day!

Today is a pretty laid back Father's Day. Dustin is at work for the whole day, just like every weekend for the moment. My dad is at work also, as he was in Vegas for part of last week so he's trying to make up for it now I guess. I got up early to help Dustin's grandma clean her house, and now we're spending time with my Grandma Pat, trying to avoid cutting the grass in this hot weather.

We went to see Thomas the Train on Friday with Amy, Josh, Ben, Maddie, Mom, and Caitlyn. Logan loved it! We got to ride on him, and Logan thought that was the coolest. Josh seemed to have a good time, even though he probably could have done without the loud whistle. :)

We also had a girls night out to the Tim McGraw concert on Thursday!! It was soooooo amazing! (Maybe that also had something to do with the fact that this was the first concert at Verizon that I drank alcohol at. Lol.)

Happy Mother's Day!

Today has been great! Got up a little earlier than maybe I should have, but we had to beat all of the people out to the restaurant for breakfast. All of us kids took Mom out to IHOP and had a great breakfast, well I had lunch because it sounded better. Logan and Dustin got me flowers, a Trisha Yearwood cookbook that I really wanted, and a gift card to a nail place/spa. Soo wonderful!

I know it's been a while since I wrote anything, but I've been really busy. Working 40 hours, taking a few classes online, and taking care of Logan leave little time for much else.

Logan is really such the talker now. I love it. He's coming up with original ideas now, not just repeating things after you. The thing I probably like the most is that he now will just come up to me randomly and say "I love you Momma." Melts my heart everytime! I'll try to post more often, but for now, I want to go spend the rest of my mother's day with my two sweeties. (Oh yeah, and finish laundry, and pick up my room, and.......A mother's work is never done. :) But I love it!!)

Wow...

I have been soooo overwhelmed with all the stuff going on around here, so I haven't updated recently....... I started a new job for WellPoint back in October. Its going really well. Dustin is now working for AirServe, a transportation company that contracts with FedEx at Indianapolis International Airport. It's going well for both of us right now. Logan is getting ready to turn 2 in a few weeks. I can't believe it's been almost 2 years since he was born!! He is having a party on the 20th out here at Mom and Dads @ 2:30pm, for whoever wants to come, some people have already gotten invitations (some people I don't have your current address). Been a long time.......

So....yeah....it's been a long time since I've updated this. Lots has happened, Dustin is no longer at Hamilton Heights (long story, but bottom line, it was not a good fit for him). So that means we've moved back to the westside, which is good because we were way too far away from people up there all by ourselves. We just found out yesterday that Dustin was offered a job working for Warner Enterprises. They're are trucking company that works out of Indy. He finishes his class on the 17th, and then takes his CDL Class A test, and then has orientation the following week at this new company. It takes a HUGE load off of our minds now! We just keep telling ourselves that everything happens for a reason, and this was meant to happen.

Logan is still into everything! He's developing his personality more and more each day. His temper is really starting to come out, along with some hitting and biting and throwing his head on the floor in anger. But we still love him :) He is also picking up more words each day. His latest thing is "Quacking". He goes around the house "quack, quack, quack". It's so funny! And Caitlyn taught him that after she says "1...2...3..." he says "GO!" He also loves to play outside now. Now if the weather would just make up it's stupid mind and stay warm!!!

Logan, Dustin, and I traveled to the Indianapolis Home Show today where we got to meet - and I got to have my book signed by - Kate Gosselin from Jon and Kate Plus 8 on TLC. Logan and I are ADDICTED to that show. He loves the little kids! In addition to NOGGIN, this is one of the only shows he'll sit and watch with me. When the kids scream, or sing, or talk, or really do anything, he loves it. I'm convinced that he wants to be a part of a big family, lots of brothers and sisters. Now if only we can convince his Daddy.

Yay, SNOW!!

This was Logan's first real chance to play out in the snow. He loved it. He wasn't sure what to think at first or what to do with it. But when we brought him back in the house, he cried because he wanted to go back out! :(

Happy Birthday Logan!

Thanks to everyone who came to help celebrate Logan's First Birthday yesterday. He got so many fun gifts! And he loved his birthday cupcake. I can't believe he's already turning 1. If the rest of his life goes this fast, I don't know what I'll do!
